Dark skin is no longer a taboo and we encourage everyone to flaunt their natural tone fashionably. This is a great cultural change that is slowly making its way into our societies and we should encourage this as much as possible. Tanning, on the other hand, is becoming a bigger problem with each passing year. In this article we will discuss two effective solutions for tan removal.
With depleting ozone layers, the effects of prolonged exposure to the sun are detrimental to our skin. Harsh sun means increased chances of skin burns. The heat causes a lot of sweating and increased oiliness. This leads to makeup disasters, more pollution sticking to the skin and eventually, it causes skin irritation, acne. The strong UV rays lead to faster aging of the skin and wrinkles. For some unlucky ones, it may even lead to skin cancer.
The biggest problem is that people are losing their natural skin tone. The skin is becoming darker and in most cases in patches, making it look unpleasant. It also accentuates blemishes that are stubborn and difficult to get rid of.
Two Effective Solutions for Tan Removal
The market is flooded with products that promise makeup solutions to hide the problem and then there are de-tan solutions that remove the problem. We recently published a blog which gave amazing DIY and fully natural solutions. Hope you have tried them this summer and are already enjoying the benefits. Today we will talk about two commercially available products from Mesmara. They are fully organic and needless to say, are chemical-free. Let us introduce them to you and tell you how to use them.
#1 – Mesmara Professional De Tan Cream
This is a de-tan cream that has Kojic acid as the main ingredient. Kojic acid has its roots in Japan where it was prepared during the fermentation of starch and sugars, e.g. a by-product during the preparation of soy sauce and rice wine.
Kojic acid has many uses but is mostly used in cosmetic products as it inhibits the production of melanin. It helps in lightening the skin and evening out the skin tone. Kojic acid helps the people who suffer from liver spots as this helps in reducing them. It also has antibacterial properties that reduce skin infections.
Apart from Kojic Acid, the cream is supplemented with Sandalwood Oil, Kumkumadi Oil, Clove Oil, Peppermint Oil, Geranium Oil. Together the cream accelerates the de-tanning process and provides additional nourishment to the skin to accelerate new cell generation.
How to use it?
The cream has to be applied before you step out into the sun. Take a small amount and apply in a circular motion, especially on the cheek mounds and the temple area above the eyebrows.
