Apply all over the face and neck. The yogurt gives a soothing effect and honey acts as a natural bleach. Combined with rose petal powder, this 3 ingredient mix works as an effective remedy for removing tan after sun exposure.
DIY Rose petal powder face cream:
Though it would be a difficult task to make your own cream from scratch, we could just improvise on the task. Take your favourite face cream. Sieve the rose petal powder through a fine sieve. Add a pinch of it to your face cream. Add 2 drops of rosehip oil. Lo and behold! you have an infused face cream. Apply this particularly before going out in the sun. It will definitely protect you from UV rays.
DIY Rose petal powder mini facial:
To half a cup of rose petal powder, add 1 egg white and 1 tsp honey. People with oily skin can substitute honey with rose water. Make a thick paste and apply all over the face and neck. Leave it on for 30 minutes and wash with lukewarm water. This face pack will do the job of a mini facial. It tightens the skin pores, cleanses, moisturizes, and nourishes the skin. It also lightens the skin and tones it up.
DIY Rose petal powder exfoliating mask:
Mix together 1/4 cup of orange peel powder with 1/4 cup of rose petal powder. Infuse it with 2 to 3 drops of geranium oil or rosehip oil. Make it into a smooth paste by adding the required amount of rose water. Apply all over the face and neck and wash off after 20 minutes with gentle scrubbing. This mask helps ward off the fine lines of ageing and dark spots. It also cleans and clears pores.
DIY Rose petal powder nourishing hair mask:
Mix equal quantities of amla powder and rose petal powder. Blend with almond oil. Infuse a few drops of lavender essential oil. Apply all over the scalp and hair with a brush. Shampoo after 30 minutes. With regular use, you can get rid of your dandruff problem and grow shiny, lustrous hair.
