Flawless skin is something every girl dreams about. But it takes effort to attain and maintain that kind of skin. While it is absolutely necessary to follow a skin care routine in the morning, it is equally important that you have night skin care regimen that you follow without fail.

You might be totally tired in the night and want to hit the bed right away. So lets make a routine which is easy to follow and takes very less time.

Step #1: Removing Makeup:

Popular and trending Korean skin care routines recommend using oil cleansers to remove the layers of makeup on your face. Massage the cleanser onto your face and remove it using cotton pads or just rinse it off.

Step #2: Cleanser:

Once you are done with removing your makeup, you need to wash your face with a water based cleanser. This removes all the dirt and grime settled in your skin pores along with the residues of the oil cleanser.

Step #3: Exfoliate:

Exfoliation removes dead skin, which helps rest of the skin care products to work better on your skin. It gives your skin a polished look. However, you do not need to exfoliate daily, especially if you have sensitive skin. Experts recommend that you exfoliate your face at least twice a week. Massage a scrub onto your face and rinse it off.

Step #4: Toner:

Toners balance the pH levels of your skin. They also make it easy for the skin to absorb the moisturizers that you will be applying later. You can choose between a variety of toners depending on your skin type and your age. Some toners are alcohol based, some are filled with powerful ingredients like fruit and flower extracts. Toners do the job of replenishing your skin after the cleansing ritual. They make your skin look younger.

Step #5: Serum:

During the night, your skin absorbs the applied solutions constantly. Hence, your skin needs a more heavier dose of moisturizers than it does during the day time. Serums provide that extra nourishment to your skin. You can make your own serum, using a carrier oil and a few drops of essential oil of your choice. Serums must be patted in gently, so that they enter the pores, and work through the night.

Step #6: Under Eye Cream:

The skin around your eyes requires special attention. To avoid looking like a zombie in the morning, dab in some under eye cream which prevents dark circles and eye bags.

Step #7: Night Cream:

Finally, apply a layer of hydrating moisturizer or night cream and you are ready to hit the bed and wake up like a fairy.

Following these steps will ascertain that your skin retains its glow and keeps looking young. But do remember it is also important to get a good night’s rest – your beauty sleep – to have beautiful skin and refreshed mind. Keep away all gadgets at least an hour before you sleep, so that your brain relaxes and lets you fall asleep quickly.
