Ingredients for Rasgulla
- Milk – 1 liter
- Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
- Sugar – 4 cups

Bring the milk to boil. Once it starts rolling, add the lemon juice and keep stirring. Once the milk curdles, let it sit for some time to cool. Take a muslin cloth and strain the water. Ensure the water is completely strained out. Knead the chhena well and make small round balls. Keep it aside.
Take a heavy bottom vessel and fill it half with water. Once the water starts boiling, add sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves. Bring the sugar syrup to boil. Now slowly add the chhena balls in the sugar syrup. Let it boil for a minute and then turn off the heat. Your spongy lip-smacking rasgulla is ready.
