DIY Facial at Home Process:

The process includes cleansing, toning, scrubbing, massaging with various oils and finally applying a face pack.

1. Aloe Turmeric Cleanser

Raw turmeric is a wonderful herbal medicine. It helps heal the skin and while at it, it also lightens the skin tone. Aloe Vera plant has properties that soothe the skin, increases the growth of new cells and helps reduce tanning.

Application

Take a small amount on the tips of your fingers and evenly spread the paste. Apply this on your face, neck and all the exposed areas that need a good cleanse and repair. In about 15-20 mins the sticky paste will start drying up and that is usually enough time for it to work on your skin.  You can now wash it off gently and subsequently moisturise.

2. Fresh Milk Cream and Green Tea Toner

Another ingredient for a home facial for glowing skin at home is green tea, which is rich in antioxidants. When applied topically, it promotes collagen production in the skin. An important ingredient to keep skin firm and prevent sagging.

Preparation:

Take some cotton to soak in tea water and use this to cleanse the excess oiliness from the cream. As you wipe the cream, the green tea benefits are passed on to the skin.

3. Lemon/Orange Peel Face Scrub

Lemon and Orange are citrus fruits with loads of freshness. The aroma is very refreshing and also it is loaded with vitamin C and antioxidants.
